When you register for President’s Council:

  • Directors have the option to add a tour for you and your guest in Laguna Niguel on June 3rd.
  • Consultants have the option to add a tour for you and your guest in Laguna Niguel on June 7th.

The cost of the tours will be invoiced to you post conference.

Please note: All tours are optional and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Minimum and maximum numbers of participants are required for most tours.

Practice Credits are eligible for your optional tour selections for you and your guest.

June 3rd Tour Options (Directors and Guests)

Electric Boat Tour

Cost: $177.00 USD per person
Duration: approx. 3.5 - 4 hours (2 hours on boat)
Tour Capacity: 21 People minimum / 60 people maximum (must have 6 people per boat)

Enjoy cruising Newport Bay in sleek electric gondola-style boats. In these quiet, easy-to-drive boats you will enjoy the vistas of quaint Balboa, lovely Linda and regal Lido Islands from a truly unique perspective.

As the “boat captain” operates the boat, the day will come alive with the sights and sounds of the Newport Harbor. From the world famous Balboa Pavilion to the islands, ferries, birds, sea lions, majestic yachts and wonderful real estate, it’s truly a treat for the senses.

Experience an up-close-and-personal encounter with dolphins, whales and marine life off the coast of the Dana Point Harbor - a must see in the OC! Enjoy watching them frolic in their natural habitat. Catamarans are complete with a sunbathing deck and twin trampolines. A live narration from expert marine naturalists will provide a whale watching experience that is both fun and educational.

Laguna Beach Historic Walking Tour

Cost: $183.00 USD per person
Duration: approx. 3 hours (2 hours walking)
Tour Capacity: 15 people minimum per group / 30 people maximum per group

If you are interested in finding out about the history of Laguna Beach or just want a leisurely walk through this art colony, then this tour for you. The 2.4 kilometre stroll through the heart of Laguna Beach will take you back in time and bring you up to date on this beautiful coastal community. Begin in front of the Pageant of the Masters / Festival of the Arts, weaving our way south towards the eucalyptus tree lined Forest Avenue. We’ll head further south towards the White House and Peppertree Lane before crossing Pacific Coast Highway and heading north towards the unprecedented gift of Brown’s Park. Continuing on past Greeter’s Corner and Main Beach, we’ll finish our tour after a few interesting stops in Heisler Park with a picturesque view of the ocean and possibly, if the sky is clear, a panorama of the elusive Catalina Island.

Coastal E-Bike Ride

Cost: $262.00 USD per person
Duration: approx. 2.5 - 3 hours (2 hours on bike)
Tour Capacity: 10 people minimum / 20 people maximum

Experience the sublime beauty of Laguna Beach on this safe and historical loop that bypasses the Pacific Coast Highway. Pedal the quaint Craftsman neighbourhoods and gardens, access impressive view corridors, stop at Heisler Park to see the magnificent public art, experience the charming downtown commercial district and many artists' residences.

The ride is approximately 12 kilometres, parts of which are hilly. The ride starts in North Laguna and heads past historic Pyne Castle, with elevated ocean views in the rural neighbourhood. Then you head down to the beautiful Crescent Bay beach park, with the best panoramic view of the Laguna coastline down to Dana Point. Then it's south through Heisler Park to view some of Laguna's impressive public art. You'll cycle through the downtown village and the Oak St neighbourhood, home to early California Craftsman bungalows. Then deep into Bluebird Canyon to experience the deep hills buffeting Laguna before heading through more quaint neighborhoods, past Laguna High School, and pedaling through the village once more before returning to the starting point.
